Here is some of the intial paintings of Cezanne's work to start off this project. Pupils then explored the development of Cezanne's work, as well as Braque and did still life drawings of their own. This was also an opportunity for pupils to refine painting and drawing skills before either embarking on a G.C.S.E or completing their formal art education experience. |
Below is the developing work. From two drawings of a set still life, the drawings were combined together to produce a still life that reflected the principles of Cubist reality, that multiple realities can be depicted simultaneously on a two dimensional plane. The design that came out of this was then open to further interpretation and pupils could paint the final design how they felt suitable. | |||||||||
